Welcome!
Caroline McCann
I initially came to yoga in 2008 as a complement to other workouts. Establishing a consistent yoga practice eventually helped me recover from the extended period of stress I experienced while working in a corporate sales role at Google NYC. Yoga and meditation taught me to observe my thoughts and actions mindfully which has helped me identify and change harmful habits.
While yoga seemed to be an excellent and well-rounded practice for me on physical, mental, and spiritual levels, I started dabbling in other movement modalities including Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Yoga Sculpt (yoga with weights and resistance bands), and freeform Dance. I have been teaching yoga and movement for over 11 years. I’ve opted for different styles of teaching over the years and have gathered first-hand evidence of what works.
My approach to teaching is based on inclusivity, technology, and strength. Since taking classes online, my success has been phenomenal with over 280 classes taught, reaching an average of 8 people per class. I have been able to improve upon a standard vinyasa flow class and teach a more purposeful curriculum based on strength training and quality rest.
I am ready to teach you to do the same! I have packaged my method and style of teaching to share with teachers who share similar values. My mission is to be a springboard for yoga teachers who are interested in transforming their process into a more tech, inclusivity, and strength-based teaching approach.
